Myanmar will hold pre-SEA hockey competition at Theinphyu Stadium in Yangon next month ahead of 27th Southeast Asian Games, according to sports circle Monday.
Organized by Myanmar Hockey Federation, the competition is scheduled to take place on Oct.13.
The event will be joined by hockey clubs from Pakistan, Malaysia, China's Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
After this event, the outstanding hockey players will be selected for the SEA Games.
Meanwhile, the 27th SEA Games will be held in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Ngwesaung beach from Dec. 11 to 22 this year.
